Property Management Coordinator

Position ObjectiveTo provide property and facilities management services across the organisation in relation to Council’s property portfolio to ensure they are well maintained and managed. The position will contribute to the development of Council’s strategic vision relating to affordable housing, property development, commercial property leases, maintenance and acquisition and will undertake as required all aspects of property management tasks in order to achieve the delivery of effective and quality property management services. Key ResponsibilitiesLiaise with the Building Maintenance Supervisor & Officer, Swimming Pool Contractor, and Contractors in general to complete works on Council facilitiesProvide property management services and administrative functions (tenancy agreements, lessee payment reviews, rental review, debt management, leases, property inspections etc) with respect of all Council commercial buildings which include but are not limited to Council’s Administration Office and Community Precinct, Cloncurry Health Precinct, St Andrews Garden Settlement, William Presley Place and PCYC.Assist the Operations team to carry out planning for capital projects and eventsEnsure flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) where requiredDevelop and maintain a property portfolio for all of councils residential and commercial facilitiesQualificationsPossess a working knowledge of local government operations, structure, services, programs, policies and activities relating to property and facility management and aged care accommodation.Possess a current manual C class driver’s licence.Possess a construction White Card is mandatoryExperience in the realty sector is highly desirable.Applications Close Friday 30 October 2020 at 12:00pm  CLICK HERE FOR POSITION DESCRIPTION AUD Cloncurry 4824
