This friendly town is situated approximately 120kms east of Mount Isa and provides all the necessary services including grocery stores, medical services, education, and recreational facilities. The Position:                         Reporting to the Manager Human Resources & Safety, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of learning and training initiatives and reviewing legislative and statutory requirements for employees across the organisation. Experience and Qualifications:  Council is seeking a HR professional with a passion for learning and development. Additionally, you must possess:                                                   Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Human Resource Management as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;Understanding of HR principles and practices pertaining to learning and development, training initiatives, induction processes and general HR matters;Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) along with previous experience in InfoExpert and/or Learning Management Systems will be highly regarded; andWell-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders. The Benefits: Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000, plus superannuationLocality Allowance5 weeks annual leave, plus 17.5% leave loadingRelocation assistance valued at $3,000Accommodation options to be negotiated  Applications will be assessed as received.  CLICK HERE FOR POSITION DESCRIPTION AUD Cloncurry 4824
