Training and Development Officer

This role ensures organisational capability, compliance, and effective training delivery across RTO engagement, e-Learning administration, funding management, and training matrix oversight.   • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple training activities, priorities and stakeholders across a complex or operational environment
  • Experience working with Registered Training Organisations, internal stakeholders and employees to achieve effective training outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining training records, compliance documentation, registers and reporting
  • Experience administering and improving e-Learning or Learning Management Systems, including user onboarding, course assignment and troubleshooting
  • Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements and the ability to support WHS training administration and compliance reporting
  • Ability to analyse workforce training data and develop dashboards and reports to support compliance, planning and executive decision-making
  • Experience identifying, coordinating and acquitting training funding opportunities, grants and subsidies
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage training logistics end-to-end, including internal and external course facilitation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data reporting tools such as Power BI
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in training systems, processes and service delivery

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Current unrestricted C Class Driver Licence.

Desirable

  • Cert IV in Work Health and Safety desirable or willing to undertake
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment desirable or willing to undertake
  • Experience or training in data reporting or dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI) is desirable
