You’ll be part of a supportive team responsible for delivering essential services to our community.Key Responsibilities:Assist with operating and maintaining treatment plants, pumps, and equipment.Record daily operational data, such as flow rates and meter readingsCollect and test water and wastewater samples.Monitor and manage chemical usage.Support maintenance and infrastructure repairsWork weekends on a rostered basisWhat We’re Looking For:A general understanding or interest in water and wastewater treatmentWillingness to undertake training (including Certificate III in Water Treatment Plant Operations)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team.Good literacy, numeracy, and time management skillsEssential Requirements:Unrestricted "C" Class driver’s licenceConstruction White Card (or ability to obtain)Willingness to acquire Confined Spaces, Chlorine Safety, and Forklift certifications. For a more detailed job outline, please refer to the attached Position Description. Locals are encouraged to apply!
