Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Library Services Coordinator to join the team, benefits include:5 weeks Annual LeaveRDO'sRemote Area Housing AllowancePersonal (Sick) LeaveSalary $75k - $77k (plus OT/TOIL) per annum dependent on qualifications & experience ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Library Services Coordinator for the Cloncurry Shire Council, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Bob McDonald Library and the Dr. David Harvey-Sutton Art Gallery. You will report to the Community & Cultural Services Manager within the Community Services and Economic Development Department, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties aimed at delivering excellence in customer service and fostering community engagement. These duties include actively participating in strategic planning, providing friendly information and reference assistance to library clients, developing and delivering integrated community programs and events, managing budgets and funding applications, maintaining library resources to required standards, coordinating staff rosters, monitoring visitation and art gallery exhibitions, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures, and fostering positive cultural change within the workforce.
