What You’ll Do: As the Supply Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the purchasing and supply chain for our depot store.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Purchasing & Procurement: Oversee daily purchasing of goods and services, ensuring compliance with council policies.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and conduct regular stock audits to optimize inventory levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support the Purchasing and Stores Officer, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Financial Collaboration: Work with the Accounts Officer for timely processing of orders and payments
- Data Analysis: Analyse spending trends to enhance our purchasing strategies.
What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for a candidate who is:
- Experienced in inventory management and procurement policies.
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- A natural leader who enjoys teamwork and supervising others
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Knowledgeable about safe materials handling and storage practices
Qualifications Needed:
- Current Police Clearance
- Positive Notice Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Unrestricted Driver’s License
- Construction White Card (prior to start date)
Desirable:
- High-risk forklift ticket (LF) or ability to obtain one.
- Qualifications in Procurement, Fleet Management Support, or Business Administration
